Switzerland Joins 8th EIG CONCERT-Japan Call – Deadline July 9
The Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) is participating in the 8th European Interest Group (EIG) CONCERT-Japan call on Sustainable Hydrogen Technology as Affordable and Clean Energy. A total of six multilateral collaboration projects consisting of at least one Japanese and two eligible European countries will be selected to receive funding for a period of three years.
Call for Opportunity Grant 2021 with Japan
The Call for Opportunity Grant 2021 for research projects between Switzerland and Japan is currently open. The opportunity grants support bottom-up initiatives of researchers from Swiss universities, universities of applied sciences, universities of teacher education, and public research institutes, linked to specific events or incidents in Japan.
New Master Program in Finance at University of Geneva – Deadline March 31, 2021
The University of Geneva launches a new Master of Advanced Studies in Finance Program. The unique and innovative 9-months program will expose students to the most exciting developments in finance, including private equity, hedge funds, real estate investment, sustainable finance, neurofinance, and fintech. Courses will be held in English, with a part-time option for working professionals. Applications will be accepted until the end of March 2021.

New Call for Bridging Grants with Japan – Deadline 30 September 2020

Switzerland is currently accepting proposals for Bridging Grants with Japan. The call is aimed at building on existing collaboration between Japanese and Swiss researchers. Not only joint research projects but also past workshops or seminars that have been jointly organized would qualify. It is open to all scientific disciplines and fields of research. Selected proposals will receive up to CHF 25’000 for a maximum duration of 12 months. Applications will be accepted until September 30, 2020 (CET).
