World’s smallest artificial heart-lung apparatus developed
The world’s smallest and lightest artificial heart-lung apparatus has been developed by the National Cerebral and Cardiovascular Center in Suita, Osaka Prefecture, the center announced. The device is small enough to be used in medical emergencies outdoors or on air ambulances.
