Overview
RIKEN is Japan’s largest and most comprehensive research organization for basic and applied science and a world leader in a diverse array of scientific disciplines. For a century since its foundation, RIKEN has fostered pioneering, innovative research in fields spanning the entire range of the natural sciences, and encompasses a network of world-class research centers across Japan, offering state-of-the-art facilities that rank among the best in the world.
At the 7th RIKEN-S&TDC Seminar, three scientists from the RIKEN Center for Quantum Computing will introduce their ongoing research projects on quantum computing and provide information that diplomats will be able to feed back to potential partners or researchers in their home countries. In addition, there will be a special guest speaker, Professor Buscemi from Italy at Nagoya Univesity. We hope this will be a good opportunity to strengthen collaboration with overseas research institutions, universities, and companies. RIKEN’s executive director in charge of international affairs and the presenters are looking forward to having active discussions with the S&TDC members.
